Chivas enters SuperLiga on four-game unbeaten run / Chivas llega a la SuperLiga con un invicto de cuatro partidos

On Thursday night at The Home Depot Center, Chivas USA earned a 1-1 draw with intra-city rivalry LA Galaxy, to remain tied with the Galaxy for first place in MLS’s Western Conference heading into SuperLiga.
A million dollars is on the line as the Red-and-White make their international debut in SuperLiga against CONCACAF champions Pachuca this Sunday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center.
Against the Galaxy, Chivas USA’s Ante Razov scored his second goal in as many games off a feed from Sacha Kljestan in the 15th minute. Edson Buddle tied the game for the Galaxy in the 72nd minute.
Razov’s goal was his fourth of the year and the 113th of his regular-season MLS career, second all-time behind D.C. United’s Jaime Moreno (118).
With the draw, Chivas USA’s record improves to 6-6-4 (W-L-T) and 22 pts, good for a first-place tie in the West, before entering a three-week break from league play ahead of an Aug. 2 match at Chicago.
