Chivas USA Head Coach Preki, on Saturday's match: “It was a tough evening for us. I didn’t think we were particularly sharp in the first half. Actually, quite a few guys that weren’t sharp, and I didn’t feel like the commitment was good from the get-go. We made one or two mistakes and we paid for it. After that it was an uphill battle. In the second half we made a couple of changes, we pushed the tempo, and we created quite a few opportunities.”
Chivas USA’s next opponent, the Chicago Fire, arrives in Southern California on Sunday, June 15 ahead of Thursday’s nationally televised match at The Home Depot Center.
Chivas USA faces off against Cuauhtémoc Blanco and the Fire this Thursday, June 19 at 7:30 p.m. at The Home Depot Center.
